When it comes to spa offerings at our favorite resorts, we live by the immortal words of Donna Meagle and Tom Haverford: “Treat yo’ self.” If you only get to experience a dream vacation once, maybe twice, in a lifetime, then you should definitely try to experience the best of everything your chosen island and resort offer. And when we’re talking about the best of the best, you can bet that there’s a spa treatment available that will blow your mind.

We can’t travel all the time, though, so that means our chances to treat ourselves are limited. Fortunately, Tamieka Frazer-Lewis, manager of the Irie Baths and Spa at S Hotel Jamaica in Montego Bay, has a solution: an easy at-home spa treatment, using basic ingredients that you probably have in your pantry, that will hopefully give you that five-star pampered feeling until it is time for your next vacation.

Her first offering is the “buzz-worthy cellulite busting self-care ritual” known as the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Body Scrub. “Concentrated caffeine is known for lessening cellulite in many topical creams, but Jamaicans have been onto the miraculous properties of coffee for generations,” says Tamieka. “Massaging the grinds into the skin in circular motions helps smooth the surface by exfoliating dead skin and stimulating the breakdown of cellulite underneath.”

  • Combine and mix the ingredients until they form a paste.
  • To begin the treatment, take a hot shower (which replaces the steam room as the skin should be moist and warm to open pores).
  • Stand in the shower and apply the mix by using long circular motions from neck to toes, concentrating on areas of concern.
  • Rinse coffee mixture from your skin and add apply lotion for more hydration.
  • The treatment should be done three times per week for optimal results.
