One of the more unique boutique hotels in the British Virgin Islands is back and better than ever.

Already one of the cooler places to stay in the British Virgin Islands, Saba Rock is back with even more style and Caribbean flair. Saba Rock

Saba Rock in the British Virgin Islands has reopened following a complete renovation in the wake of destruction caused by Hurricane Irma. Located in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda, this Caribbean-casual resort was rebuilt to withstand future storms while maintaining its funky island vibe favored by divers, kiteboarders, and sailors in the past. Diving pioneer Herbert “Bert” Kilbride is credited with establishing the island as a water sports mecca in the 1960s.

This boutique property features just seven beach-chic guest rooms and two upscale suites, all designed with a contemporary nautical aesthetic in keeping with the destination’s water playground theme. The resort pays homage to its location with a small museum onsite that houses artifacts from nearby shipwrecks.

The color theme for the resort is upbeat and unexpected with bright pops of cerulean blue and crimson red. The walls of each room feature photos that celebrate the history of the island.

Guests can dine at the resort’s large, open-air restaurant followed by after-dinner drinks in the nearby lounge. Cocktails are certainly on the agenda in the resort’s two bars, including a rooftop bar offering spectacular sunset views. Health and wellness guests will appreciate the resort’s serene, full-service spa.

Daily tarpon feedings are still a guest favorite while new experiences have been added including diving, snorkeling, standup paddle boarding, waterfront yoga, kiteboarding, glass-bottom boat tours, charter boat and rib rentals, and more.

Saba Rock is currently offering guests a fourth night free special offer through November 20. The resort’s Stay & Play opening special offers a fourth night free when booking a minimum of three nights and includes daily breakfast, roundtrip ferry transfers from Gun Creek and Leverick Bay, as well as a special welcome gift upon arrival.
